Nil Digante Oi Phuler Aagun Laglo - Rabindra Sangeet translation - Poem of Rabindranath Tagore

নীল   দিগন্তে   ওই   ফুলের   আগুন   লাগল
Nil Digante Oi Phuler Aagun Laglo
Nil Digante Oi Phuler Aagun Laglo
There, the Blue Horizon has caught Fire
with the Colour of the Flowers in this Spring.

নীল দিগন্তে ওই ফুলের আগুন লাগল ।
বসন্তে সৌরভের শিখা জাগল ॥
আকাশের লাগে ধাঁধা রবির আলো ওই কি বাঁধা ॥১॥
Niil Digante Oi Phuler Aagun Laaglo |
Basante Saurabher Shikhaa Jaaglo ||
Aakaasher Laage Dhaadhaa Rabir Aalo Oi Ki Baadhaa ||1||

Meaning:
1.1: There, the Blue Horizon has caught Fire with the Colour of the Flowers,
1.2: In this Spring, the Flame of Fragrance has awakened,
1.3: The Sky is bewildered with this abundance of Colours, thinking, "Has the Sun Light got bound on the Earth?"

Lotus

Niil Digante Oi Phuler Aagun Laaglo
বুঝি ধরার কাছে আপনাকে সে মাগল,
সর্ষেক্ষেতে ফুল হয়ে তাই জাগল ॥২॥
Bujhi Dharaar Kaache Aapanaake Se Maagalo,
Sarsse-Khete Phul Hoyye Taai Jaagalo ||2||

Meaning:
2.1: Probably, the Sun has asked for its own reflection from the Earth, ...
2.2: ... and therefore has woke up within the Mustard Field as the light of the Flowers.

Lotus

Niil Digante Oi Phuler Aagun Laaglo
Niil Digante Mor Bedankhaani Laaglo,
Anek Kaaler Maner Kathaa Jaaglo |
Elo Aamaar Haariyye_Jaaoyyaa Kon Phaaguner Paagal Haaoyyaa |
Bujhi Ei Phaagune Aapanaake Se Maaglo,
Sarsse-Khete Ddheu Hoyye Taai Jaaglo ||3||

Meaning:
3.1: My Feelings have got united with this Blue Horizon,
3.2: The Memories of many years have awakened within my Mind,
3.3: The Restless Breeze (of the past) which was Lost (within my memories) has arrived again; from which Colourful season (of the past) I know not,
3.4: Probably, the breeze has asked itself again from this season of Colours, ...
3.5: ... and therefore has woke up again within this Mustard Field as the Waves (swinging the Flowers).
