Vishnu takes strides across the worlds

- अतो देवा अवन्तु नो यतो विष्णुर्विचक्रमे । पृथिव्याः सप्त धामभिः ॥
[Ato Devaa Avantu No Yato Vissnnur-Vicakrame | Prthivyaah Sapta Dhaamabhih] (RV 1.22.16)
O Vishnu, may the Devas protect (Avantu) us (Nah) where (Yatah) you (i.e. Vissnnu) stepped (Vicakrame); From Earth (Prthivyaah) by seven (Sapta) Dhamas.

- इदं विष्णुर्विचक्रमे त्रेधा निदधे पदम् । समुळ्हमस्य पांसुरे ॥
[Idam Vissnnur-Vicakrame Tredhaa Nidadhe Padam | Samuddham-Asya Paamsure] (RV 1.22.17)
O Vishnu, you stepped (Vicakrame) in this (Idam) (universe) three times (Tredhaaa) by placing (Nidadhe) your feet (Padam); (The entire universe was) washed (Samuuddha) by the dust (Paamsu) (of your feet).

- त्रीणि पदा विचक्रमे विष्णुर्गोपा अदाभ्यः । अतो धर्माणि धारयन् ॥
[Triinni Padaa Vicakrame Vissnnur-Gopaa Adaabhyah | Ato Dharmaanni Dhaarayan] (RV 1.22.18)
O Vishnu, you who are the unfailing (Adaabhyah) protector (Gopaa) stepped (Vicakrame) three (Triinni) steps (Padaa) (in this universe) thereby upholding (Dhaarayan) the Dharma.
