Ganesh Chaturthi:

Sri Ganesha Ganesh Chaturthi is the day in which the birth of Sri Ganesha is celebrated. On this day Sri Ganesha was resurrected by Lord Shiva by putting an elephant's head and making Him the first deity to be worshipped. Ganesh Chaturthi falls on Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha Chaturthi.
