Festivals of Sri Narasimha

Narasimha Jayanti:

Sri Narasimha Narasimha Jayanti is the day in which the appearance of Sri Narasimha is celebrated. Sri Narasimha is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Sri Narasimha appeared from a pillar to kill demon Hiranyakashipu, and also prove the words of Prahlada true that Vishnu is everywhere, even in the pillar pointed out by Hiranyakashipu. Narasimha Jayanti falls on Vaishakha Shukla Paksha Chaturdasi.
