Lord Shiva and Brahmagiri Mountain: (ब्रह्मगिरि)
Lord ShivaLord Shiva relieved devotee sage Gautama (as a result of his penance in the Brahmagiri Mountain) from the false accusation of brahmanas and released river Ganga (Gautami Ganga or Godavari) from his matted hairs. Lord Shiva then abided there as Tryambakeshwara Jyotirlinga.
