Godavari Tir Shakti Peetha: Godavari Tir is a Shakti Peetha identified with the Godavari Tir Shakti Peetha mentioned in the Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. It is identified with Koti Tirtha on the banks of river Godavari near Rajamundry, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh.

Ganda of Devi falling: Godavari Tir is the place where the Ganda (Cheek) of Devi had fallen. The Devi there is known as Vishwesi and the Bhairava is called Dandapani. (Peetha Nirnaya Tantra)
