Srishaila Shakti Peetha: Devi Bhramaramba temple of Srisailam is a Shakti Peetha identified with the Srishaila Shakti Peetha mentioned in the Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. The Shakti Peetha is located within the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga temple complex in Srisailam. Srisailam is located on the top of Nallamalai Hills.

Griva of Devi falling: Srishaila is the place where the Griva (Neck) of Devi had fallen. The Devi there is known as Mahalakshmi and the Bhairava is called Sambarananda. (Peetha Nirnaya Tantra)
