Shakti Peetha identified with the
Kurukshetra Shakti Peetha mentioned in the
Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. It is located in Kurukshetra district of Haryana. The Shakti Peetha is near Dwaipayan Sarovar in Kurukshetra. There is a Devi Koop (well) where the ankle of Devi fell.
