Meditation: I meditate on the Shiva Linga given by Lord Shiva to Ravana as a boon for his penance at Kailasha; which got fixed on the ground (
Vaidyanath) while Ravana was carrying it back to Lanka.

Vaidyanath Shakti Peetha where the Hridaya (Heart) of Devi had fallen. The Devi there is known as Jaya Durga and the Bhairava is called Vaidyanatha.

Shakti Peetha within the same temple complex.

Vaidyanatha Jyotirlinga mentioned in
Shiva Purana - Koti Rudra Samhita 28.

Linga given to Ravana getting fixed: It is the place where the Linga of Shiva got fixed, which was given to Ravana by Lord Shiva himself as a boon for his penance at Kailasha.

Shakti Peetha identified with the
Vaidyanatha Shakti Peetha mentioned in the
Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. The shrine of Devi is located within the Baidyanath Dham temple complex.
