Arupadai Veedu (APV-1).
- Sri Muruga married Devayanai after vanquishing demon Surapadman at Tiruchendur.

Tiruchendur - Subramanya Swamy (Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu): An
Arupadai Veedu (APV-2).
- Sri Muruga vanquished demon Surapadman with his Vel in a battle which lasted for six days.

Palani - Dhandayuthapani Swamy (Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu): An
Arupadai Veedu (APV-3).
- Sri Muruga settled down, leaving Kailasha after a challenge with brother Ganesha.

Swamimalai - Swaminatha Swamy (Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu): An
Arupadai Veedu (APV-4).
- Sri Muruga expounded the Pranava Mantra to Lord Shiva.

- Sri Muruga married Valli and led a calm and peaceful life.
