Nepala Shakti Peetha: Devi Guhyeshwari temple of Kathmandu is a Shakti Peetha identified with the Nepala Shakti Peetha mentioned in the Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. It is located in the Kathmandu district of Nepal on the bank of river Bagmati.

Janu of Devi falling: Nepala is the place where the Janu (Knee) of Devi had fallen. The Devi there is known as Mahamaya and the Bhairava is called Kapali. (Peetha Nirnaya Tantra)
