- Devi Saraswati as river Saraswati flowed through Pushkara in ancient times. The upper part of river Luni of Rajasthan is identified as the place of ancient river Saraswati. River Luni originates in Pushkar Valley near Ajmer.

• Pushkara: Pushkara is an ancient pilgrimage of Lord Brahma where Lord Brahma performed a Yagna. Lord Brahma threw a Lotus from his hand in that place, hence the place came to be known as Pushkara. Devas performed penance here and got the darshan of Lord Brahma.
