Pushkar: Pushkar is an ancient pilgrimage of Lord Brahma which is a
Swayam Vyakta Kshetra as well as a
Shakti Peetha. The legend of
Pushkar is mentioned in the
Padma Purana - Shristi Khanda 15.

Swayam Vyakta Kshetra: Pushkar is one of the eight Swayam Vyakta Kshetras (Sri Rangam, Tirumala, Sri Mushnam, Thotadri, Shalagram, Pushkara, Naimisharanya and Badrinath).

Manivedaka Shakti Peetha: Devi Gayatri temple at Pushkar is identified with the
Manivedaka Shakti Peetha mentioned in the
Peetha Nirnaya Tantra.

Worship of Lord Brahma by the devas: Pushkar is an abode of Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma selected it as a kshetra for performing yagna. The devas performed penance here and got the darshan of Lord Brahma.
