Virata Shakti Peetha: Devi Ambika temple of Virat Nagar is a Shakti Peetha identified with the Virata Shakti Peetha mentioned in the Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. Virat Nagar is located in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan in Vairat (Bairat) village (around 64 km from Jaipur).

Pada Anguli of Devi falling: Virata is the place where the Pada Anguli (Fingers of the Foot) of Devi had fallen. The Devi there is known as Ambika and the Bhairava is called Amrita. (Peetha Nirnaya Tantra)
