Manasa Shakti Peetha: Lake Mansarovar is a Shakti Peetha identified with the Manasa Shakti Peetha mentioned in the Peetha Nirnaya Tantra.

Daksha Hasta of Devi falling: Manasa is the place where the Daksha Hasta (Right Hand) of Devi had fallen. The Devi there is known as Dakshayani and the Bhairava is called Amara. (Peetha Nirnaya Tantra)
