Devi Alopi temple of
Allahabad is a
Shakti Peetha identified with the
Prayaga Shakti Peetha mentioned in the
Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. It is located at Allahabad in the Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The temple does not have any idol. A wooden jhula above a marble platform is considered the goddess.
