देवि सुरेश्वरि भगवति गङ्गे त्रिभुवनतारिणि तरलतरङ्गे ।

• Karna Prayag is a Uttarakhand Pancha Prayag (5 sacred confluences of rivers in Uttarakhand) [Dev Prayag, Rudra Prayag, Karna Prayag, Nanda Prayag, Vishnu Prayag]

• Karna Prayag is the place where Karna worshipped Surya deva and obtained his Kavacha and Kundala.

• Karna Prayag is the place where king Dushyanta met Shakuntala.

• Karna Prayag is the place where the sacred river Alakananda flows.
