Sri Rama staying in the Panchavati forest
Panchavati: Sri Rama staying in the Panchavati forest:

पञ्चवटीतटसुस्थित राम् (Panchavati-Tatta-Susthita Raam): Who abided at Panchavati on the bank of river (Godavari).

Meditation: I meditate on Sri Rama staying in the Panchavati forest.

Sri Rama staying in the Panchavati forest: Sri Rama reached Panchavati from Agastya Ashrama. River
Godavari flowed in that place. Lakshmana built a beautiful cottage (parna shala). Seeing the cottage Sri Rama was filled with joy and embraced Lakshmana. One day while going for bath on river Godavari, Lakshmana described the beauty of the Hemanta Ritu to Sri Rama.

River Godavari. It is believed that Sri Rama bathed here during forest exile. It is also the place for performing rituals and devotional contemplation.
