• Meditation: I meditate on Sri Rama sending Sugreeva to fight with Vali in Kishkindha (first duel).

• Sri Rama sending Sugreeva to fight with Vali (first duel): Sri Rama told Sugreeva to invite Vali for a duel. They all went to Kishkindha. Sugreeva invited Vali for a duel but Sri Rama could not differentiate between Vali and Sugreeva since they are very similar in appearance. So he did not release his arrow. Vali defeated Sugreeva and chased him away in the Rishyamuka Parvata. Sri Rama consoled Sugreeva and removed his misunderstanding. To put a mark of differentiation on Sugreeva, he then adorned him with a flower garland of Gaja creeper. They again set forth for Kishkindha.
