• Meditation: I meditate on the Parashurama Avatara of Lord Vishnu.

• Parashurama, the son of sage Jamadagni: Parashurama was an obedient and well-disciplined son of sage Jamadagni and Devi Renuka. He mastered the various Vedic scriptures and served his parents. Once Parashurama (then a boy) wished to visit his grandfather sage Richika. He took the permission from his parents and went there.
