Lord Parashurama

• Meditation: I meditate on the Parashurama Avatara of Lord Vishnu.

• Parashurama visiting his grandfather sage Richika: Parashurama visited his grandfather sage Richika. His grandfather and grandmother was very happy to see him. Parashurama stayed there for a few months and served them.

• Parashurama visiting his great-grandfather sage Aurva: Parashurama then visited his great-grandfather sage Aurva.

• Parashurama visiting his great-great-grandfather sage Cyavana: Parashurama then visited his great-great-grandfather sage Cyavana.

• Parashurama visiting his great-great-great-grandfather sage Bhrigu: Parashurama then visited his great-great-great-grandfather sage Bhrigu. The hermitage was very pleasing with various trees offering cool shade and bearing fruits and flowers. It was filled with the chirping of the birds and the sound of the recitation of the Vedas. The fragrance of the smoke of the Homas filled the surroundings. There were deers roaming about and peacock and peahens dancing. Sons and daughters of the sages moved about performing their daily works. There were discussions of scriptures going on. Sage Bhrigu was delighted to see him. Parashurama stayed in that hermitage for a few days.
