Jaigishavya Incarnation
Jaigishavya Incarnation
(Shiva Purana - Shata Rudra Samhita - 4)

•
Meditation: I meditate on the
Jaigishavya Incarnation of Lord Shiva during the end of the seventh Dwapara yuga of seventh Manvantara of Varaha kalpa.
•
Events: Lord Shiva said: During the seventh Dwapara yuga when Indra will become the Vyasa I will incarnate as
Jaigishavya. I will be firm in my practice of yoga and meditate inside a cave in
Kashi sitting over a seat of Kusha grass. O Vidhi (Brahma), during that period I will help Vyasa Shatakratu (Indra) and redeem the devotes from the fear of samsara.
Four sons:
During that period four sons of mine would be born. They would be known as Saraswata, Yogisha, Meghavaha and Suvahana.
