Kanka Incarnation
Kanka Incarnation
(Shiva Purana - Shata Rudra Samhita - 4)
•
Meditation: I meditate on the
Kanka Incarnation of Lord Shiva during the end of the fifth Dwapara yuga of seventh Manvantara of Varaha kalpa.
•
Events: Lord Shiva said: During the fifth Dwapara yuga when Savita will become the Vyasa I will incarnate as
Kanka. I will be born as a yogi.
Four sons:
During that period four sons of mine would be born who will follow the path of yoga. They would be known as Sanaka, Sanatana, Sanandana and Sanatkumara. They will have spotless minds and will be free from ego. O Vidhi (Brahma), I will help Vyasa and propagate the path of Nivrtti (Renunciation).
