Shweta Muni Incarnation
Shweta Muni Incarnation
(Shiva Purana - Shata Rudra Samhita - 4)

•
Meditation: I meditate on the
Shweta Incarnation of Lord Shiva during the end of the twenty third Dwapara yuga of seventh Manvantara of Varaha kalpa.
•
Events: Lord Shiva said: During the seventh Manvantara of Varaha kalpa when Vyasa himself will preside over the yuga, for the benefit of brahmanas during Kali yuga, I will incarnate at the end of Dwapara yuga as
Shweta Muni along with Shivaa.
Four disciples:
O Vidhi (Brahma), four disciples of mine with tufts (shikha) on their heads would be born on the peak of the
Himalayas which is known as
Chagala. They would be known as Shweta, Shwetashikha, Shwetashva and Shwetalohita. They would attain my loka through Dhyanayoga. Then knowing me to be imperishable they would go beyond birth, death and old age by meditating on the Parabrahman (Supreme Brahman).
