Sikhandi Incarnation
Sikhandi Incarnation
(Shiva Purana - Shata Rudra Samhita - 5)
•
Meditation: I meditate on the
Sikhandi Incarnation of Lord Shiva during the end of the eighteenth Dwapara yuga of seventh Manvantara of Varaha kalpa.
•
Events: Lord Shiva said: During the eighteenth Dwapara yuga when Ritanjaya will become the Vyasa, I will incarnate as
Sikhandi on the auspicious peak of the snow-clad mountain.
Four sons:
During that period in the highly auspicious Siddhakshetra in the mountain-forest of
Sikhandi, four sons of mine would be born. They would be known as Vacashrava, Rucika, Svavasya and Yatisvara.
