Sutara Incarnation
Sutara Incarnation
(Shiva Purana - Shata Rudra Samhita - 4)
•
Meditation: I meditate on the
Sutara Incarnation of Lord Shiva during the end of the second Dwapara yuga of seventh Manvantara of Varaha kalpa.
•
Events: Lord Shiva said: During the second Dwapara yuga when Satya will become Prajapati (Vyasa) I will incarnate as
Sutara and continue to live in Kali yuga.
Four disciples:
Four brahmanas will be born as my disciples who are well-versed in the Vedas. They would be known as Dundubhi, Shatarupa, Hrishika and Ketumana. Through Dhyanayoga they would attain my loka. Knowing my essential nature to be imperishable they would become liberated.
