Flowers for adoring Shiva

(Shiva Purana - Vayaviya Samhita - Uttara Bhaga - 25)

Shiva
कर्पूरं चाथ कङ्कोलं जात्यादि च नवं शुभम् ।
आलेपनं चन्दनं स्यान्मूलकाष्ठं रजोमयम् ॥२६॥

Karpuuram Ca-Atha Kangkolam Jaaty[i]-Aadi Ca Navam Shubham |
Aalepanam Candanam Syaan-Muula-Kaassttham Rajomayam ||26||

1: Camphor and Kankola and Jati flowers which are fresh are considered auspicious,
2: And sandalwood made into paste (should be offered).
