Ref: Sri Ramakrishna the Great Master - Part 2 - Ch 5: Sri Ramakrishna getting initiated in Shakti Mantra: Kenaram Bhattacharya, a proficient sadhaka of Shakti used to visit the Dakshineshwar Kali temple. He lived in Baithakkhana bazaar in Kolkata. He was probably acquainted with the family of Rani Rashmani. While visiting Dakshineshwar temple he became acquainted with Ramkumar. Sri Ramakrishna resolved to get initiated by him. As soon as he was initiated Sri Ramakrishna went into ecstasy. Kenaram was much impressed with his devotion and blessed him heartily.
