ऐन्द्री गजसमारूढा वैष्णवी गरुडासना
नारसिंही महावीर्या शिवदूती महाबला
माहेश्वरी वृषारूढा कौमारी शिखिवाहना
लक्ष्मीः पद्मासना देवी पद्महस्ता हरिप्रिया
श्वेतरूपधरा देवी ईश्वरी वृषवाहना
ब्राह्मी हंससमारूढा सर्वाभरणभूषिता
इत्येता मातरः सर्वा सर्वयोगसमन्विताः

Aindrii Gaja-Samaaruuddhaa Vaissnnavii Garudda-[A]asanaa ||

Maaheshvarii Vrssa-[A]aruuddhaa Kaumaarii Shikhi-Vaahanaa ||
Lakssmiih Padma-[A]asanaa Devii Padma-Hastaa Hari-Priyaa |

Meaning:
(I Salute the Matrikas Who are endowed with all Powers)
1: Devi Chamunda Who abides with the Ghosts and Spirits, Devi Varahi Who is seated on a Buffalo,
2: Devi Aindri Who is mounted on an Elephant, Devi Vaishnavi Who is seated on the Garuda,
3: Devi Narasimhi Who is of great Valour, Devi Shivaduti Who is of great Strength,
4: Devi Maheshwari Who is mounted on a Bull, Devi Kaumari Who is mounted on Her carrier Peacock,
5: Devi Lakshmi Who is seated on a Lotus, Who is holding a Lotus on Her Hand and Who is the beloved of Hari,
6: Devi Ishwari of White complexion Who is mounted on Her carrier Bull,
7: Devi Brahmi Who is mounted on a Swan and adorned with all Ornaments,
8: These all are the Mothers (Matrikas) Who are endowed with all Yogas (Powers of the respective Gods).
