अष्टमे मेरुदेव्यां तु नाभेर्जात उरुक्रमः
दर्शयन् वर्त्म धीराणां सर्वाश्रमनमस्कृतम् ॥१
..१३ ॥
Assttame Meru-Devyaam Tu Naabher-Jaata Urukramah |
Darshayan Vartma Dhiiraannaam Sarva-[A]ashrama-Namaskrtam ||1.3.13 ||

Meaning:
1: Eighth in the line (of Incarnations), the Lord incarnated from Meru Devi and king Nabhi, the Lord who takes great strides (i.e. who is the doer of great deeds),
2: Showing the path of the Dhiras (i.e. Calm and Steady in Mind), the Lord became revered by all the orders of life.
