Kharvvaam Lambo[a-U]dariim Bhiimaam Vyaaghra-Carmma-[A]avrttaam Kattau ||

Meaning:
1: (I meditate on Devi Tara) Who is standing with Her left Foot extended forward and right Foot drawn back; Who is terrible in appearance and adorned with a garland of Skulls,
2: Who is short in stature with a large Belly; Who is fearful in appearance and covered with Tiger-skin around Her Hip.






नवयौवनसम्पन्नां पञ्चमुद्राविभूषिताम् ।
चतुर्भूजां लोलजिह्वां महाभीमा वरप्रदाम् ॥
Nava-Yauvana-Sampannaam Pan.ca-Mudraa-Vibhuussitaam |
Catur-Bhuujaam Lola-Jihvaam Mahaa-Bhiimaa Vara-Pradaam ||

Meaning:
1: (I meditate on Devi Tara) Who is endowed with Youthfulness and adorned with five Mudras,
2: Who is having four Arms; With Her rolling Tongue Who appears very fearful, but is a giver of Boons (to Her Devotees).






खंगकर्तृसमायुक्तसव्येतरभुजद्वयाम् ।
कपोलोत्पलसंयुक्तसव्यपाणियुगान्विताम् ॥
Khangga-Kartr-Samaayukta-Savyetara-Bhuja-Dvayaam |
Kapolo[a-U]tpala-Samyukta-Savya-Paanni-Yuga-Anvitaam ||

Meaning:
1: (I meditate on Devi Tara) Who is holding a Khangga (Khaddga) and a weapon to Cut (Scissor or Sword) in Her left pair of Arms,
2: (And) With Her right pair of Arms Who is holding a Bowl of Skull and a Lotus.






पिंगाग्रैकजटां ध्यायेन्मौलावक्षोभ्यभूषिताम् ।
बालार्कमण्डलाकारलोचनत्रय भूषिताम् ॥
Pingga-Agraika-Jattaam Dhyaayen-Maula-[A]a-Vakssobhya-Bhuussitaam |
Baala-Arka-Mannddala-[A]akaara-Locana-Traya Bhuussitaam ||

Meaning:
1: (I meditate on Devi Tara) Who is having reddish-brown Matted Hairs; That Ancient One is to be meditated as adorned (with Matted Hairs) flowing down till the region of Her Bosom,
2: Whose three Eyes shine like the Orb of the newly-risen Sun, adorning (Her Face).






ज्वलच्चितामध्यगतां घोरदंष्ट्राकरालिनीम् ।
स्वादेशस्मेरवदनां ह्यलंकारविभूषिताम् ॥
Jvalac-Citaa-Madhyagataam Ghora-Damssttraa-Karaaliniim |
Svaadesha-Smera-Vadanaam Hy[i]-Alamkaara-Vibhuussitaam ||

Meaning:
1: (I meditate on Devi Tara) Who is standing within the blazing Fire of the Funeral, with terrible Fangs gaping from Her Mouth,
2: Whose Face is sporting a commanding Smile and Whose Body is adorned with various Ornaments.






विश्वव्यापकतोयान्तः श्वेतपद्मोपरिं स्थिताम् ॥
Vishva-Vyaapaka-Toya-Antah Shveta-Padmo[a-U]parim Sthitaam ||

Meaning:
1: (I meditate on Devi Tara) Who is standing on top of a White Lotus which is floating over the Universal Waters.
