Sri Jagadeeshwara Perumal and
Sri Nilamangaivalli Thayar in Thiruneeragam Divya Desam.

Greatness: Thiruneeragam is a
Divya Desam. It is the 47th Divya Desam and is located in Thondai Nadu. It is situated within the Ulagalanda Perumal Temple of Kanchipuram. There are four Divya Desams within the Ulagalanda Perumal temple of Kanchipuram. They are Thiru Ooragam, Thiruneeragam, Thirukaragam and Thirukarvanam.
- Perumal is in Standing posture facing East.
- Pratyaksham: Akrurar
- Mangalasasanam: Thirumangai Alvar (1 Pasuram)
- Vimanam: Jagadeeshwara Vimanam
- Pushkarini: Akrura Teertham

Puranic Events:

Lord Vishnu & sage Markandeya: Sage Markandeya performed penance. The Lord showed him the scene of deluge.

Events: Sage Markandeya performed penance on the bank of a river wishing to see the scene of the great deluge (pralaya). The Lord created the scene of deluge out of his power of Maya and showed it to sage Markandeya. The Lord himself took the form of a small child lying on a banyan leaf in the midst of the water of deluge.
