Events: King Virosana of Vidarbha had no sons who could be the heir of his kingdom. So the king worshipped Lord Kailashanatha of Kanchipuram and prayed to him. By the divine grace the dwarapalakas of Lord Vishnu, Pallavan and Villavan, were born as his sons. Pallavan and Villavan performed a yagna worshipping Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu gave them darshan in this place.
