Ayodhya: Sri Rama incarnating:

► शुद्धब्रह्मपरात्पर राम् (Shuddha-Brahma-Paratpara Raam): Who is an embodiment of pure Brahman.
► चण्डकिरणकुलमण्डन राम् (Canda-Kirana-Kula-Mandana Raam): Who incarnated (in Ayodhya) and adorned the Solar dynasty (Surya Vamsha).

• Meditation: I meditate on Sri Rama incarnating in Ayodhya in response to the prayers of the devas to eliminate Ravana.

• Dasharatha performing Yagnas: King Dasharatha brought sage Rishyashringa to Ayodhya to perform the Vedic ritual of getting a progeny. King Dasharatha performed the Ashwamedha yagna followed by the Putrakameshti yagna under the guidance of sage Vasistha and sage Rishyashringa.

• Devas praying to Lord Vishnu to incarnate: The devas assembled in the firmament to receive their share of the yagna along with other celestial beings. They prayed to Lord Vishnu (keeping Lord Brahma in the helm), to incarnate on the earth and eliminate Ravana. Lord Vishnu was pleased by their eulogy and granted them the boon. He said that he will eliminate Ravana along with all his relations and ministers. Then he will stay in the world and rule for eleven thousand years. Lord Vishnu then decided that he will have king Dasharatha as his father during his incarnation.

• Yagna Purusha emerging: The Yagna Purusha emerged during the Putrakameshti yagna with a golden vessel with divine dessert. King Dasharatha gave the divine dessert to his four queens.

• Sri Rama incarnating: Lord Brahma asked the devas to procreate vanaras from their parts to help Lord Rama during his incarnation. Sri Rama incarnated as the son of Kaushalya on the Chaitra Shukla Navami.
