Sri Krishna becoming the disciple of Sandipani Muni: Sri Krishna became the disciple of Sandipani Muni at Avanti to learn the various arts. Vasudeva performed the second birth initiation of Krishna and Balarama. Then Krishna and Balarama approached Sandipani Muni to become his disciple and learn the various arts. Sandipani Muni taught them the Vedas, Upanishads, Dhanur-Veda, Law, Reasoning and various other subjects. Sri Krishna and Balarama learnt the sixty-four arts and skills in sixty-four days (and amazed their guru).
