Presence of Sri Krishna in Nandgaon:
Sri Krishna and Vrindavana forest 1. Sri Krishna left Gokula and went to Vrindavana. The elders had decided that they should leave Gokula due to frequest disturbances from the demons.

Vrindavan is around 25 km from Gokul and 15 km from Mathura.

It is said that later Sri Krishna moved to Nandgaon when the attacks by the demons of Kamsa did not stop at Vrindavana. Nanda Maharaj decided to move further away from Mathura and therefore shifted to Nandgaon. Nandgaon is around 40 km from Vrindavan and 55 km from Mathura. Nandgaon is said to be part of ancient Vrindavana, the farthest end of it.
