Sage Vishwamitra Himalayas: Sage Vishwamitra had a hermitage in the Himalayas on the bank of river Kaushiki.
Sri Rama heard about sage Vishwamitra at Girivraja (Valmiki Ramayana)
Note: The hermitage was expected to be on the bank of river Koshi in the Himalayan region.
