আনো তব তাপহরা তৃষাহরা সঙ্গসুধা ।
বিরহিণী চাহিয়া আছে আকাশে ॥১॥

Aano Tabo Taapo-Haraa Trssaa-Haraa Sangga-Sudhaa |
Birahinnii Caahiyyaa Aache Aakaashe ||1||

1.1: Come, O the Beautiful Green (of the Rainy Season),
1.2: Bring your Nectar-like Companionship, which removes the Heat and the Thirst,
1.3: The one Separated from you is Looking at the Sky intently.
